He appears outwardly jovial and straightforward, often serving as the team’s physical shield, but his true purpose is that of the Ministry’s enforcer. Boone is a Duskwalker, a soul deeply tied to the threshold between life and death, which grants him a frightening familiarity with the end of things.
He is built like a wall and possesses raw, intimidating strength, relying on his formidable presence and a massive scythe to control chaotic situations. He speaks the language of the grave and approaches the spectral problem with a shocking lack of hesitation, ready to apply decisive, physical force to anything that manifests in their way.
He acts as Giulia’s steadfast bodyguard, trusting her esoteric knowledge implicitly, while ensuring no living soul—or overly aggressive apparition—interrupts her quiet work.
How this character plays
Boone is the party’s durable frontline striker. Quick-Tempered lets him Rage as a free action when initiative is rolled, granting 9 temporary HP and +2 melee damage without consuming his first turn. Use his scythe for heavy damage and its Trip trait, or Intimidating Strike when frightening an enemy will help the whole party.
