Seamus isn’t just a technician; he’s a human explosion—loud, boisterous, and entirely focused on getting the job done. As the chief demolitions supervisor for the Bergum Mining Guild, he spent two decades designing and executing the complex blasts that carved the silver from the earth. While he’s fundamentally a good guy—known for sharing a raucous laugh and a strong drink—his primary loyalty is to the Guild.
Now, Seamus is absolutely furious that the Apparitions have derailed the Guild’s closure of the site. Yes, it was his final, brilliant blast that breached the ancient shrine, but he views the ensuing chaos as a costly, embarrassing technical failure, not a supernatural threat. He’s here to make things right, not for heroism, but because he’s the only one who understands the complex stress points of the mine’s structure and can calculate how to safely navigate the compromised tunnels.
He joins the Ministry’s team with a confident swagger, eager to apply his expertise, seal the source of the haunting, and get the Guild out of Bergum for good.
How this character plays
Seamus is an adaptable alchemist who turns versatile vials into whatever the current problem demands. Quick Bomber compresses drawing or creating a bomb and throwing it into one action, while Quick Alchemy can produce another formula-book consumable on demand. His dagger is a fallback; his real value comes from bombs, alchemy, and choosing the right damage or utility effect.

Outside combat, Seamus is the party’s strongest technical specialist and a capable medic. Use Crafting and Mining Lore to examine damaged passages, equipment, and evidence from the excavation; Medicine provides reliable recovery, and Fermenting Liquors offers a small once-per-day heal. His knowledge is broad, though his loyalty to the Guild still colors how he explains its mistakes.
